My name is Sellie Truitt and I would like to introduce you to the Truitts Pencil Pen Caddy, with the convenient MULTIPLICATION TABLE on the back. I know it works as I taught School from 1999 to 2009. Charter School Students from the 4th through 9th Grades learned rapidly. It is a double whammy. I introduced it to a number of Students who had great great success.
When I discovered Calculators were being used instead of having to learn MATH, I could see the Hand Writing on the Wall. I drifted back to 1975 when I worked for an Insurance Company and a Female Underwriter was trying to figure the amount of a claim.. $11.000 for Water damage; $17,000 Furniture replacement; and $35,000 for Smoke damage. The Girls, apparently College Students, (Insurance were Underwriters and none of them could figure out the total amount of the claim until someone brought a Calculator from the Claims Department. After all of these years, I can still see those six girls looking over the shoulder of the Girl with the Calculator; waiting for the results.
Students from the 4th or 5th Grades up, should know the Multiplication Table. I have combined a Pencil and Pen Holder to go with it.
